Jim Rhoads, owner of Success Strategies for Students, LLC; is a dynamic, enthusiastic national presenter and Keynote speaker for the past 20 years. He is currently an Adjunct Professor for the Richard Stockton College of NJ in the field of teacher education. He is a Consultant and Trainer for the NJPSA (NJ Principal Supervisory Assoc) and the FEA (Foundation of Education Administration). Jim is a former Elementary and Middle School Principal and also served as Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Testing. Jim is noted for his extensive work in developing and creating instructional brain research strategies to help struggling students achieve. He is currently serves as a Trustee for the Galloway Community Charter School Board.
An expert in areas of personality styles, multiple intelligences and brain compatible strategies particularly in the science classroom, he has created a series of hands on activities and techniques that can be incorporated into any curriculum. Jim has been instrumental in acquiring Star Lab Planetarium technology bringing science to life in the districts of his employ. His passion for helping every child learn is contagious.
Jim has presented throughout the state of New Jersey and has been influential in implementing the CLICK discipline program developed by Dr. Anthony Scannella and Ms. Denise Hecht of NJPSA to bring about positive school reform. His informative and enlightening style captures the interest of his audience. Participants walk away feeling inspired and motivated to try new things in the classroom the very next day.

All workshops come in a 1, 3 or 6 hour format depending upon the needs of the district. Keynote presentations are written to the individual needs of the districts.
Workshop One: Instructional Strategies for Teachers
This entertaining hands-on workshop will provide teachers with key communication and instructional strategies for immediate classroom use. During the first half of this 3-hour presentation, participants will learn how to identify unique student personality styles and apply prepared dialogue scripts that foster trust and rapport. In the last portion, attendees will engage in spelling, vocabulary and ice-breaker activities that make learning more meaningful for students.
Time of Presentation: 3 hours; or two 1.5 hour seminars
