Welcome to By the Sea Singles Networking, Coaching & Social Group! We are a group of almost 1000 strong! I started the singles group in March, 2006 as a way for singles in the southern NJ area and beyond to gather in a various safe, beautiful, and exciting venues to sample their food, enjoy their ambiance & fine wines and liquors.

Our monthly parties bring from 25 – 75 singles (depending on the event and topic) from many areas and in diverse occupations. Bringing and exchanging business cards is encouraged, as our singles are encouraged to buy products and services from one another. Most parties require cocktail/fine business attire. Remember to ALWAYS “dress to impress” if you are looking to meet that “special someone!” I have happily introduced many couples that have married or are still together today!

Our monthly parties are usually the second Wednesday of the month, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, however it is always best to email me or check this web site by the first of each month to get the party details. Reservations are required by the Sunday before (up until 3 pm); so that a food order may be called in.

There are several types of parties:

     1)  For Social Parties, there is always an “Ice Breaker” game – it changes for every event – but it is usually a matching card game that encourages you to approach every member of the opposite sex to see if “they have your match.” The purpose of this is to meet every person in the room of the opposite sex. Socials are usually given around a holiday, and given a special theme or type of attire to wear.

     2)  Coaching/Social Event: This party is half educational, half social. The first hour Riana gives a seminar on Being a Successful Single and Finding a Quality Life Partner; materials from Relationship Coaching institute of which she is a Certified Singles & Couples Coach. The second half the members socialize, eat food from reduced priced special menus and really get to know each other. This program is for the “Serious Single” who is ready to do what is necessary to prepare themselves for a quality relationship. We usually go out dancing afterwards at 9 pm – to a major upscale, singles establishment.

    3)  Marathon Speed Dating Event: This party is usually offered every January and July, and sells out quickly! We take up to 25 men and women, so when you see this party announced, RSVP as quickly as possible! Many couples have met by this method, and it is a favorite party of many. This event is $30, usually runs for 3 hours, and is often held on a Saturday.

As you can see, the venue often changes, so you must return to this site for the upcoming month’s party details, and to register for the event. PRE-PAYMENT is REQUIRED to attend; you may use Pay Pal on this site, or mail a check payable to Riana Milne, and send to 7028 Ridge Ave, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234. The Fee for the regular monthly parties ranges from $20 - $30 and includes a cash bar. Many venues offer a special light menu and reduced drink specials, which you must pay for at time of order by cash or credit card. You must register your information before attending to help me monitor our guests.

You MUST be a professional single who is divorced or widowed, between the ages of 30-60 to attend. This is NOT a Seniors or Retirement Group. The venues will be given your name and email only, to send you promotional announcements and specials after you attend their event, but you may opt out of their mailings at any time.

Memberships are available for $ 75/year, which entitles you to a discount at every party; usually of 50% off! You can order them through Pay Pal and pick up your Membership card from me at the upcoming Event. The yearly renewal starts one year from the party date you signed up, and you MUST have your card at check-in to receive your discount, no exceptions.
